Sues Anderson created her blog We Are Not Martha in 2008. It all started as a fun project with one of her friends. Afterward, Anderson turned her blogging into a full-time job.

She clarified: “I started creating recipes pretty early on, but in the beginning, I mainly worked for free products. As my traffic grew and my photography improved, I began charging brands for recipe development”.

Recently, Anderson charges around $750 to $2,500 for recipe development.

Although she is a professional blogger, Sues, sometimes is asked by brands to create receipts for free. She said: “ I always let brands know that because recipes take a lot of time to develop and this is my business, I can’t do it free of charge or for a chance to get paid”.

4.    Fork in the Road

In her blog, Fork in the Road, Kristina focuses on green species that emphasize vegetables, nutrition, and health. She perpetually encourages her readers to follow the green path and stay healthy. Fork in the Road saw lights in 2015 and turned into a full-fledged business in 2018. In that year only gains reached $20,081.30. Out of this figure, $9500 came from freelance writing, photography, and design. The other $7,500 was contributed by sponsored content while consulting the job brought $2,000.
