The blogger Amanda Biddle created her blog in 2013 to simply practice her hobby. She published her first recipe for the first time in 2015. She has become now an entrepreneur who runs her blog full time. She earns around $1,250 to over five figures for recipe development Amanda prefers to work with just a few long-term projects with some brands including Stonewall and Kitchen. She said: “I do prefer longer-term contracts”. Biddle makes money through her food styling, photography, and videography without outsourcing these services. This enables her to save her gains.
Biddle does not only make money through recipes but also from the ad revenue. She claimed: “ When a recipe is published in a blog post, the ad revenue I make on the post, in the long run, can exceed the initial rate I was paid for the work”.
2. TiffyCooks
Her love for food pushed her to start her blogging food journey. She likes using various ingredients to re-enact similar Asian recipes. Then she quickly turned her blogging into a permanent job making a living from it. Her recipes are ranging from Asian to Western ones.
In one single month, Oct 2021 to be exact, Tiffy could gain $45,000 – $55,000. Half of her income comes from website ads. Moreover, she gets 35℅ more through dealing with brands.
3. We Are Not Martha
Sues Anderson created her blog We Are Not Martha in 2008. It all started as a fun project with one of her friends. Afterward, Anderson turned her blogging into a full-time job.
She clarified: “I started creating recipes pretty early on, but in the beginning, I mainly worked for free products. As my traffic grew and my photography improved, I began charging brands for recipe development”.
Recently, Anderson charges around $750 to $2,500 for recipe development.
Although she is a professional blogger, Sues, sometimes is asked by brands to create receipts for free. She said: “ I always let brands know that because recipes take a lot of time to develop and this is my business, I can’t do it free of charge or for a chance to get paid”.
4. Fork in the Road
In her blog, Fork in the Road, Kristina focuses on green species that emphasize vegetables, nutrition, and health. She perpetually encourages her readers to follow the green path and stay healthy. Fork in the Road saw lights in 2015 and turned into a full-fledged business in 2018. In that year only gains reached $20,081.30. Out of this figure, $9500 came from freelance writing, photography, and design. The other $7,500 was contributed by sponsored content while consulting the job brought $2,000. The rest earnings came in from ads, affiliate marketing, and coaching.
